Welcome To The Thornapple Players!

Mission Statement:
The purpose of Thornapple Players is to provide an outlet for creative involvement and quality theatre entertainment for our community. To celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of the Thornapple Arts Council of Barry County, the Thornapple Players were formed after almost a year of planning.  We became an independent organization in January of 2003.

The musical, Anything Goes, was performed in the spring of 2000 thanks to a generous grant from the Barry Community Foundation and the support of businesses and patrons throughout Barry County.  The audience was there to support us and have continued to do so.
Any adult beyond high school age in Barry County or the surrounding areas is welcome to audition for our shows.  Audition information always appears in Barry County newspapers, on this web site or you can call 269 945 2332.  Norma Jean Acker is the project director for the Thornapple Players productions. Currently we perform four shows per year - a musical in the spring , at dinner theatre at the Hastings Elks Lodge in the summer, a play in the fall, and a dinner theatre at the County Seat Lounge in the winter.
